About your personal data
PatiGaga is free. Before you add your first companion, here is briefly how we handle your data.
Your record data
What we store: your account details (name, email) and your companion's details: name, species, date of birth, health records and photo.
Why: to show you the health record and send the reminders you ask for.
Who can see it: only you. Your records are never shown to other users, sold or handed to third parties.
For how long: as long as your account exists. Delete your account and all records and photos go with it. Support messages you send us are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Your rights: you may access, correct and request deletion of your data. Just write to muezza@syncodon.com.
If a shared feature such as "companions near me" is introduced later, we will ask for your permission separately before anything of yours is shown to others.
Rehoming rules and consent
Rehoming differs from health records: what you enter is shown to other users. That is why we ask for your consent separately.
- It is free. No fee, deposit, donation or expense may be requested. Unlicensed selling is a criminal offence.
- Listings are reviewed. They go through approval before publication; listings that break the rules are not published.
- Contact is mediated. Nobody's email or phone number is handed to the other side automatically.
- Information must be accurate. Describe health and temperament exactly as they are.
If you consent, the name, photo, species, age, district and the text you write are shown to other users. You can pause the listing at any time and request deletion of your data at muezza@syncodon.com.
